Day 1 : Fes Imperial City– Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley– Merzouga Desert Sahara
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 before leaving Fes imperial city to sahara desert of Merzouga; starting our 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga crossing the middle Atlas Mountains. First stop in ifran, it feels more like Switzerland relocated to the Middle Atlas. Our trip continues to Azrou town located up a steep hill through a variety of woods to the famous cedar forests inhabited by endangered Barbary Apes. Passing by Midelt, and stops for panoramic views along the way of ziz valley. You’ll be welcomed with a cup of tea before you ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore the mysterious sand sea of the Erg-Chebbi dunes. Enjoying the beauty of the Sahara desert. Once we reach our desert luxury camp; you will have time to relax and enjoy the sunset over golden dunes. You will have dinner in front of the camp, while enjoying Berber nomads traditional music with drums and dancing around the campfire.
Day 2 : Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Goreges – Dades Valley
Today, you will get up early to watch the stunning sunrise over the sand dunes is a unique experience that is so often embedded in the minds of our visitors. Then have your traditional breakfast. Ride your camel back to Merzouga where you will find the driver waiting for you to travel to Boumalne Dades Valley. Through Rissani, Erfoud (a historic region and an archaeologist’s delight that is packed with fossils), and Tinghir showing the traditional rural life of this region, a beautifully constructed houses dotting the landscape of the largest oasis. After that; we will head to Todra gorges; the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco- undoubtedly one of the most spectacular natural attractions that Morocco has to offer. The walls of the gorge are cut in the walls of the gorge reaches 300 meters. Afterwards we’ll drive through the Dads Valley, where you will see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes» and many landscapes of Berber villages. Dinner and Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.
Day 3 : Boumalne Dades- Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasba– Marrakech Imperrial City
After breakfast in the hotel or Riad we will drive through The Dades Valley and river, also known as a Road of a thousand Kasbahs. We will stop at Kalaa Mgouna; “the roses village” famous with its annual festival of roses. Continuing on to Skoura and the bird’s valley where the main features are the mud brick Kasbahs especially the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved Kasbah in this area. The tour continues to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Morocco”. Its geography and beautiful landscapes has attracted many world class film producers. You’ll get the chance to see Kasbah Taourirt a Hollywood backdrop (Sheltering Sky, Gladiator, and Prince of Persia). Afterwards we will dive towards the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; one of the most beautiful Kasbahs on this area. The Kasbah has magnificent views of the surrounding palm trees; before heading to Marrakech via the tizi n’tichka pass .we’ll stop to visit the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th century Kasbah then we will continue exploring the tIzi n’tichka road especially its great landscape of Berber’s villages along the way to Marrakech; where our amazing 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga ends. Drop you off at your hotel or any other place you choose.
